1/23/26 Trail Conditions
Wednesday evening’s grooming run from the Dune Climb to Empire (Voice and Bar Lake Rd) was a success. We compacted 10–12 inches of fresh snow into a beautiful, solid surface.
A large fallen beech tree was encountered and cleared near Greenan Road, so the path is fully open. While heavy snowfall on Wednesday night probably left a dusting over the groomed tracks, the base remains excellent.
Looking Ahead:
Our second crew headed out Thursday morning to groom the section from the Dune Climb to Glen Arbor. It was wonderful to see skiers immediately jumping into the fresh tracks on Wednesday—we hope to see you out there enjoying the powder!
For the safety of our grooming volunteers, there are no plans to groom until the temps warm up a bit, which probably won’t be until Monday.
