Help keep our rivers “crystal” clear

Join the Adopt-a-River crew to clean up the Crystal River on Tuesday morning, June 16th starting at 9:00 meeting at Crystal River Outfitters.

Meet at Crystal River Outfitters, 6249 River Rd in downtown Glen Arbor.  We'll start with a very brief welcome/orientation followed by the cleanup at the kayak launch site and then the river. A light lunch will be provided following the cleanup. 

 We'll have “grabbers" and volunteer vests for you to use. Kayaks will be provided (let us know if you want a two-passenger), but you can bring your own if you desire. If you bring your own kayak, bring it to the meeting point. Shuttles will be provided.  

Good things to bring with you:

• Shoes, or something for your feet, you never know what's under the water should you tip over

• Sunscreen

• Bug Spray

• Water

• Hat and/or sunglasses

• Rain gear, if rain is suspected
