Flower Yellow, pea-shaped flowers in clusters of 3-6 at ends of stems. 
Leaf Leaves are 5-part compound made up of 3-part upper clover-like leaflets and 2 lower leaflets at the stalk.
Notes Fruit are long narrow capsules or pods radiating from a central point giving the appearance of a many-toed bird's foot.  Originally introduced from Europe as a cultivated forage crop, it was widely planted for erosion control along new roads.
