Stems and leaves
have air channels that trap air to keep the plant afloat. Flowers
usually open only on sunny afternoons. |

M-22 by Glen Lake and the Dune Climb. You can see the Dune Climb in
the background and the Mill Pond is heavily populated with Yellow Water
Lilies in August. |
