Height 2-3 feet
Flower Flowers are conspicuous, bright yellow with one flower at the tip of long stems.  There are 8 petals each having about 4 lobes at the tip.
Leaf Leaves are long and narrow and found at the base of the plant.
Notes Stems are smooth and tend to stand erect.  These photos were taken on the Lake MI beach of North Manitou Island near the dock in June.
