Flower Flowers are white with 7 sharply pointed petals 1/2" wide on thin delicate stalks rising above the leaves.  Often 2 flowers per plant.
Leaf Leaves are shiny, long tapered and form a single whorl below the flower 2-4" long.  Margins are mostly smooth.
Notes The Star Flower is a small, delicate plant that grows in moist areas often with mosses and usually in clumps or clusters.  It's seven petals are unusual in the plant world.
