Flower Showy upright flowers 1/2 to 3/4" wide whitish flowers with pink veins.  Each flower is made up of 5 petals with a slightly yellow-tinted center.
Leaf A single pair of smooth leaves halfway up the stem are oval in shape and 1-3" long.
Notes Spring Beauty often grows in large patches, reproducing from small underground tubers.  The flower's pink veins act as runways to guide insects to the nectar.
