Flower Flowers form groups of round clusters made of many individual white flower heads composed of petal-like white bracts surrounding a yellow center of disk flowers.
Leaf Leaves are narrow, hairy underneath, greenish-white, 3-5" and alternate along the stem.
Notes This is a common plant in Michigan which blooms late July through September. It acts as a host for the American Painted Lady butterfly caterpillars, one of our over-wintering adult butterflies.
