1-3" wide of small white flowers. Individual flowers are about 1/4"
wide and have 4 white petals. |

Leaves are heart-shaped on the
lower part of the plant and triangular toward the top. Leaves have
sharp irregular teeth and smell strongly of garlic. |

Introduced from
Europe for use in gardens where leaves were used for cultivated salads.
The small black seeds can be used as a pepper substitute. |
