Height 4-14"
Flower White, 5-parted, 1/4"-1/3" wide, clawed petals with long, slender rod-like stamens; 4" tall cluster (raceme) of stalked flowers on a long, leafless stalk; blooms in May.
Leaf Basal leaves, with 3-5 shallow palmate lobes.  Each leaf is on a single fuzzy stalk.
Notes The indentation at the base of the leaves resembles the dent at the top of a heart.
