wide rising above the leaves. Each flower has 5 petal-like white
sepals. A central tuft of white to yellowish stamens is quite
noticeable. |

Compound leaves are in a whorl,
usually 3 midway up the stem. Each leaf is composed of 3-5 deeply
cleft and coarsely toothed leaflets. There may be a long-stalked leaf
from the base of the plant that is similar to the stem leaves. They
are usually found in colonies. |
