Canada Anemone or Canada Wind Flower

Flower Single white flower about 1" wide rising above the leaves.  Each flower has 5 petal-like white sepals.  A central tuft of white to yellowish stamens is quite noticeable.
Leaf Each leaf is composed of 3-5 deeply cleft and coarsely toothed leaflets.  There may be a long-stalked leaf from the base of the plant that is similar to the stem leaves.  They are usually found in colonies.
