flowers 1/4" wide form several flat clusters 2-3" wide. Individual
flowers have 5 downward-curving petals and 5 upward petals resembling a
crown. |

Stems are stout and
smooth and have a milky juice if broken. Fruit is in narrow pods 2-4"
long which open on one side to release 10-20 disk-shaped brown seeds, each
with a white tuft. |
