How to Help
| There are many ways for you to put your
skills and resources to work at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.
It all depends on what you enjoy. There are
volunteer events that may last only a few hours, and there are long-term
projects that may require several months to complete but gives you the
flexibility to fit it into your schedule.
The Friends coordinate the Adopt-A-Beach and
Adopt-A-Trail programs. It's easy, fun, and
you can make a difference in the environment and visitor experience at
Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore by joining one of these programs. |

Friends of Sleeping Bear Dunes
and receive our Newsletter and frequent updates on projects and events.
Meet other people who, like yourself, want to make a positive difference in
preserving the natural beauty and cultural history of the Sleeping Bear
Dunes area. Even if you don't join as an official member, you can
receive our e-mail updates. |
