Flower The flower is an erect club 2-3" long which sits inside of a green or purple, sometimes striped hood.  It sits on top of a single stalk.  The base of the green club is lined with tiny separate male or female flowers protected by a green hood.
Leaf There are typically 1-3 leaves divided into 3 leaflets.  They are a dull green with deep veins.
Notes The fruit is a cluster of shiny green berries that turn red in the autumn.  Fruit is poisonous.
