2008 Port Oneida Fair

The 2008 Port Oneida Fair was held August 8 & 9 in the Port Oneida Rural Historic District of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. The Fair highlighted farm life during the late 1800s and early 1900s. There were plenty of hands-on activities for the kids and artisans demonstrating their crafts. A team of oxen was haying in a field near the Dechow farm and farm animals were available to pet and feed. The following pictures are just a small sample of the activities at the fair.
