Flower Very small flowers 1/4" across. 4-petals of pale blue or lavender.  3 rounded petals with the 4th distinctly smaller.  Each flower has a pair of projecting stamens.  Flowers distributed on an upturned flower stalk.
Leaf Mostly oval with a wedge-shaped base.  Margins are sharp toothed.
Notes Stems root from the nodes.
