Loraine’s parents, Hattie and Charles Olsen, here standing with their first child Verlin in front of their first home on Kelderhouse Road.  This farm had been built by Charles’ father, Ole Olsen.  Many Port Oneida farms changed hands several times.  Charles later sold this farm to Albert and Ida Prause, who subsequently sold it to Howard and Bertha Olsen (Charles’ nephew and his wife).  Circa 1902.
