Everett, second son of  Charles and Hattie, with milking equipment.  Standing by the barn, the garage (now gone) is in the background.  Everett bought the farm from his parents in 1965.  After the new National Lakeshore became established in 1970 Everett willingly sold the farm .  “The mornings were too early and the days too long,” explains Loraine.
