Ole Thoreson helps Everett grind corn and fill the Olsen silo during August of 1942.  The silo on the Charles & Hattie Olsen farm is unusual.  The interior is a wooden barrel-type structure, clad with metal.  Recently rehabilitated by the National Park Service, it can be seen behind the Olsen barn.
