Charles Olsen’s son Everett posed on a big load of hay in the driveway.
Charles never had a tractor or a car, but he sure knew his horses. In
addition to his farm operations, he took them around Glen Lake to plow
gardens. During winters he went to lumber camps and hauled logs. In his
later years he would occasionally fall while working them, but his horses
knew to stop and wait while he got up.
