Frank Brammer, Hattie Olsen’s father, by his mill in Glen Arbor.  After coming from Germany, he initially settled near Northport where he worked as a laborer.  However, he had always been a miller in Germany and was not happy.  He eventually was able to purchase the grist mill on the Crystal River, “and then he was content.”
